Event: On December 31, the AMT Laboratory holds a year-end party at the Gu Yu Chinese Restaurant. Yachao Dong and Kaiyi Wang host the party. Yuheng Wang reads the annual report of AMT in 2025. During the party, everyone shares their experiences and gains from the year 2025. Prof. Qiquan Quan, along with the students from laboratory, selects the annual photo of 2025. In the photo selection activity, Yachao Dong wins the gold award, Buchan Jia wins the silver award, and Jingwei Hao wins the bronze award. During the dinner, Prof. Qiquan Quan shares his own experiences in education and research, encouraging students to engage in more “irreplaceable work” in their future studies and careers. To celebrate the arrival of 2026, Bo Tang presents a simulation video showing the wind blowing through AMT at a speed of 20.26 m/s.

Event: The 2025 IEEE/RSJ International Conference on Intelligent Robots and Systems (IROS 2025) is held in Hangzhou from October 19 to 25, 2025. Professor Qiquan Quan attends the academic conference, and holds in-depth exchanges with other experts, scholars, and industry representatives. On October 22, Professor Quan visits Unitree Technology and CHINT Group with his friends from his doctoral studies at Ritsumeikan University. During the visit, they watch live demonstrations of Unitree’s robotic products.

Event: On September 29, Professor Hetang Wang and Professor Chaoquan Tang from China University of Mining and Technology, together with members of the Key Research and Development Project team, visit HIT to hold a monthly seminar with Professor Qiquan Quan. The participants present systematic reports on the progress of various research topics and hold in-depth discussions regarding the next phase of work. After the meeting, under the guidance of Professor Qiquan Quan, the participants visit the State Key Laboratory of Robotics and System, the Aerospace Museum of HIT, and the Harbin Institute of Technology Museum.

Event: On September 20, Wenqing Shen, a 2021 AMT Master’s graduate who is employed at Joint Automotive Electronics Co., Ltd., returns to the AMT laboratory to visit her supervisor and fellow students. Wenqing Shen delivers a presentation titled “Sharing of Work Experience,” sharing her work experiences and industry insights with the members of the laboratory. In addition, she tours her alma mater and visits the Aerospace Museum of HIT. On the evening, Professor Qiquan Quan leds the members of the laboratory to have dinner with Wenqing Shen. During the meal, everyone engages in in-depth discussions and spends an unforgettable time together.
