Biography:
Qiquan Quan, male, who was born in 1983 in Anhui Province, China, is holding a position of professor in Faculty of Manufacture Engineering of Aerospace Vehicle at Harbin Institute of Technology. He received the bachelor degree in Automotive Engineering in 2005, master degree in Mechanical Design & Theory in 2007 both at HIT, Ph.D. in Robotics at Ritsumeikan University, Japan. His current research interest includes Asteroid Anchoring and Sampling, Extraterrestrial Aerial Vehicle, Ultrasonic Drive and Control, Precise Torque Simulating and Testing.
He is a member of Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME). He served as an associate editor for the 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 IEEE/RSJ International Conference on Intelligent Robots and Systems. He served as the registration chair of the 2016 IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Biomimetics which took place in Qingdao. He is the peer reviewer of International Journals (IEEE Robotics and Automation Magazine; Journal of Mechanism and Robotics; Journal of Mechanical Design; Journal of Vibration and Control; Mechatronics; Advanced Robotics; Chinese Journal of Aeronautics) and International Conferences (IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Automation; IEEE /RSJ International Conference on Intelligent Robots and Systems; IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Biomimetics; IEEE International Conference on Mechatronics and Automation).
Until the end of 2020, he has authored or co-authored more than 100 papers and acquired more than 50 patents.
