Event: On September 20, Wenqing Shen, a 2021 AMT Master’s graduate who is employed at Joint Automotive Electronics Co., Ltd., returns to the AMT laboratory to visit her supervisor and fellow students. Wenqing Shen delivers a presentation titled “Sharing of Work Experience,” sharing her work experiences and industry insights with the members of the laboratory. In addition, she tours her alma mater and visits the Aerospace Museum of HIT. On the evening, Professor Qiquan Quan leds the members of the laboratory to have dinner with Wenqing Shen. During the meal, everyone engages in in-depth discussions and spends an unforgettable time together.

Event: From July 12 to 13, outstanding young scholars from world-renowned universities and institutions gathered at Harbin Institute of Technology to attend the 12th Shenzhou Forum for Outstanding Young Scholars. The Zhengzhou session is held during the same period, where outstanding young scholars from home and abroad gather together to share frontier research progress and discuss academic growth and future dreams. As the academic leader of the Young Scientist Studio, Professor Yanning Guo delivers a presentation titled “Strategies and Suggestions for the Growth of Young Scholars and Talent Application”. Professor Qiquan Quan delivers a presentation titled “Extraterrestrial unmanned sampling and exploration technology”. Professor Qiquan Quan combines his experience in extraterrestrial unmanned sampling research, shares his explorations and breakthroughs in scientific research. He encourages young scholars to actively respond to the national call, to focus on major national needs and the main economic battlefield, and to integrate innovative thinking into academic research, thus realizing the value of scientific research in servicing national development.

Event: From June 1 to June 4, the 2025 IEEE International Conference on Real-time Computing and Robotics (IEEE RCAR 2025) is held at the Toyama International Conference Center, Japan. Prof. Qiquan Quan, Prof. Gangfeng Liu, and Ph.D. candidate Bo Tang attend the academic conference. Prof. Qiquan Quan serves as the Program Co-Chair for the conference. Ph.D. candidate Tang Bo delivers an academic lecture titled “Design of a quadrotor flying robot capable of Mars rock sample collection.”

On June 5th and 6th, Prof. Qiquan Quan, Prof. Gangfeng Liu, and Ph.D. candidate Bo Tang visit Cloud Robotics laboratory, Actuation laboratory and Soft Robotics laboratory at Ritsumeikan University. They engage in extensive discussions with the Ph.D. candidates from China about the development and research of robotics technology.
